These areas may see upwards of 6 or even 7 inches of snow through tonight. Travel will be treacherous.
Elsewhere, a chilly rain will continue with wind gusts upwards of 40 mph this afternoon. Winds will gradually settle tonight, but showers will continue through at least early Saturday morning. We’ll be mainly dry by the afternoon but still cloudy.
Temperatures will rebound a bit this weekend and early next week, reaching the 50s by Monday. However, the warm-up won’t last long as the next cold front will cool us down for the middle of next week.
