PITTSBURGH — Shopping in the Strip District just got a lot bigger.

The Terminal Market is expanding, going from hosting monthly events to bi-weekly.

Starting May 7, the market will operate from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the first and third Saturday of every month. Vendors of the event will be found outside of the building from the 17th St. Passageway to the 20th St. Passageway.

The change of schedule will kick off with a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 7 at 11:30 a.m. at 1643 Smallman Street.

Once a month, local vendors head to the Terminal Market in Pittsburgh’s Strip District with various works of arts, creations and food and drink options. A few of the different vendors in attendance will be selling books, wine, spirits, soaps, beers and hoagies and other foods.

The schedule will remain until Oct. 15 and conclude with a Fall Fest event.
