PITTSBURGH — There are four men vying for the seat of Pittsburgh mayor, which is up for re-election this November.
Ahead of the May 18 primary, those candidates participated in a debate moderated by Channel 11 anchor Lisa Sylvester, which was presented by the Black Political Empowerment Project (B-PEP) in partnership with 22 community partners.
Bill Peduto, the incumbent, will debate with opponents Rep. Ed Gainey, retired police officer Tony Moreno and Michael Thompson.
They talked about issues such as COVID-19, housing, and education in the city.
