PITTSBURGH — A man is in critical condition after his car went over a hillside in Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar Friday evening.
Pittsburgh police said emergency units were dispatched to Paulson Avenue and Rowan Street just before 6 p.m.
Responding units saw a car over the hillside with a male driver inside. Medics performed CPR until the driver was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
Officials said the driver was taken into surgery at the hospital.
The area around Paulson and Rowan was closed to traffic while the Collision Investigation Unit was on scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
