PITTSBURGH — Snow showers will continue off and on through early Saturday leaving 1″ to 3″ with higher amounts in the ridges to the east.
Scattered snow showers are possible again Saturday afternoon, but additional snow accumulation should be light.
Severe Weather Team 11 will be watching closely to see if lake effect snow starts to develop Saturday which could bring localized higher snow amounts.
After a brief break Sunday, the next snow maker brings scattered snow showers back Monday with another shot of brutal cold pushing wind chills near zero next week.
