PITTSBURGH — Severe storms moved through the area Wednesday afternoon, dropping up to golf-ball-sized hail in the Pittsburgh region.

Showers and storms return overnight with steadier rain and the threat for strong winds in the area through the morning commute.

Downpours and damaging winds will be possible with the morning line of storms and an isolated tornado is also possible.
Another round of showers and storms will develop Thursday afternoon and evening with more wet weather in the area late Friday and into the weekend.
