Mostly sunny sky for Monday, showers possible on Tuesday

PITTSBURGH — Temperatures will be pleasant and mild this evening with increasing clouds. It should be mostly cloudy overnight with clearing expected as the sun comes up Monday morning. Temperatures tonight will fall to the upper 40s.

Early morning clouds will quickly decrease to a mostly sunny sky on Monday. The UV index will be high, so make sure to protect your skin and use sunscreen if you have outdoor plans on Monday. Highs will reach the mid to upper 70s.

Clouds increase Tuesday ahead of a cold front that will bring the chance for rain showers late afternoon and through the evening. Clouds will clear for Wednesday, but cooler air will follow, and temperatures will only make it to the mid-60s. Overnight lows will also run cold into Thursday morning, wake-up temperatures will dip to around 40 degrees.
