PITTSBURGH — Skies will be cloudy with scattered rain showers and gusty winds later in the evening. Small hail and thunder cannot be ruled out. Rain may mix with snow showers in spots before ending, with little to no accumulation expected.
A light coating cannot be ruled out in the ridges. Overnight lows will run above average in the low 30s. It will be mostly cloudy Friday, highs will reach the upper 40s around 50 degrees. Rain showers will develop late Friday evening so make sure to keep your umbrella with you if you are going to be out and about.
Colder air will move in for the weekend with the chance of a few snow showers possible on Saturday but mainly gusty winds and much colder temperatures will be the main headlines this weekend. Wind chills are expected on Sunday morning will likely be in the single digits with highs Sunday afternoon only reaching the upper 20s near 30 degrees. This cold snap won’t last long temperatures will rebound back well above average for the middle part of the week.
