PITTSBURGH — Our stretch of dry weather is coming to an end. A slow-moving system will bring another big warm-up Wednesday ahead of rain Wednesday night. Steady rain is possible at times, so plan for a damp and breezy evening commute.
Most of the rain will wrap up by Thursday morning with a return to sunshine and temperatures near 70 through the afternoon.
A second system will move in Friday, bringing a few showers, but the real story will be the cool down heading into the weekend.
High temperatures Saturday will struggle to get back near 50, a 25-degree drop from the high temperatures expected Wednesday.
A more unsettled and seasonal weather pattern follows next week with chances for rain and temperatures in the mid-50s.
