Temperatures will continue to warm up with showers possible late Friday

PITTSBURGH — The warming trend is expected to continue for the end of the week and into the weekend. Highs will reach the 50-degree mark Friday with showers developing late Friday evening. Showers overnight but this round of rain will wrap up by early Saturday morning. Above average temperatures continue both Saturday and Sunday with highs in the upper 50s near 60 degrees with more rain on the way for Sunday.

The mild conditions will stick around to ring in the New Year with colder air to follow later in the week.
