PITTSBURGH — A fresh coating of light snow could create slick spots again early Friday so allow extra time before you head out.
Snow showers will give way to a mix of clouds and sunshine through the rest of the day but temperatures will still be cold.
Milder temperatures move in this weekend, but rain showers will also dampen your plans. Saturday will be dry with highs in the mid 40s but rain develops late Saturday night and early Sunday morning.
A brief period of freezing rain is possible early Sunday, especially north of Pittsburgh near I-80 so check the live forecast updates on Channel 11 News before making plans. Warmer air will eventually change any wintry mix to all rain throughout the day Sunday as highs rebound near 40.
