Wet weather possible Thursday

PITTSBURGH — A few showers will pop up from time-to-time Thursday, so have the umbrella with you. An isolated storm is also possible, but the threat for damaging winds or large hail is low at this time.

Areas south and east of Pittsburgh have the highest chance for wet weather Thursday, but most areas will see more dry hours than wet.

A stray shower is also possible Friday, but once again, most areas will stay dry.

Sunny, warmer weather settles in for the weekend, perfect for catching up on outdoor gardening and sporting events. Mother’s Day looks nearly perfect with a mix of clouds and sunshine along with temperatures in the upper 70s.
