PITTSBURGH — Keep the umbrella around for any Sunday plans as rain will be in and out throughout the day.
TRACK THE RAIN WITH OUR INTERACTIVE RADAR
We’ll see some rain to start the day before sunrise as a cold front approaches from the west. That front will bring a gusty line of showers or storms around 10 or 11am Sunday. There should be many dry hours before a secondary line or cluster of storms arrives late in the afternoon or early evening. Widespread severe weather is not expected, but strong winds and small hail remain possible with any storms that can form.
It will be a return to normal mid-March temperatures for St. Patrick’s day with highs in the 40s and lows in the 30s. The cool down doesn’t last very long with temperatures back into the 60s on Tuesday and into the 70s for Wednesday.
