Westmoreland County dispatchers say the crash happened at Pinnacle Auto Sales on the 6400 block of Route 30 at 4:41 p.m. on Thursday.

Medics said a 58-year-old man was taken to a hospital in stable condition. Officials believe he may have been experiencing a medical emergency when the crash happened.

The vehicle sustained heavy damage and punched through one wall and into another.

The building has been condemned but will not need to be torn down.

Owner Barry Freger was inside the building when it happened.

“It was crazy. First, I heard the boom because he hit the first pillar. I looked up and saw the back end of the car lifted off the ground,” he said.

The building has been condemned until repairs can be made. The building inspector told Channel 11 it won’t have to be torn down.

“Whatever they say we need to do, we’ll do. But, we’ll rebuild, of course,” Freger said. “Just thank God we’re all okay.”

Business will continue to operate out of a second building on the property.
