A tree fell on an 18-year-old and killed him in North Huntington Township on Thursday morning.
It happened near the Trafford Sportsmen’s Club, 14000 Winchester Road, at around 11:40 a.m.
Officials tell Channel 11 the teen, later identified as Jacob John Lazar, was helping clear trees from last week’s tornado when a tree fell out of an excavator, hitting and killing him.
Lazar’s cause of death was rule as blunt force trauma to the head and his manner of death was ruled as accidental.
North Huntingdon Township police are investigating.
