Showers possible in some areas with warm evening temperatures

PITTSBURGH — It will be very warm with clouds this evening, an isolated shower is possible in spots. Mild temperatures are expected overnight with lows around 60 degrees.

Several rounds of rain are expected on Sunday but it will be warm and breezy with highs in the upper 60s near 70 degrees. Showers are possible in spots Sunday morning, but steadier rain will develop mid-morning through the early afternoon with another round of steadier rain late afternoon through early evening.

There is a potential for strong to severe storms arriving late Sunday night in the overnight hours, a few isolated storms could develop ahead of that late Sunday evening after 9/10 p.m. Strong winds and hail are possible with the overnight line of storms. There is a potential for another line of strong to severe storms again on Monday around midday with a cold front. The unsettled weather will move out behind this line Monday afternoon. Make sure to check the forecast often for the latest timing on the chance for severe weather over the next two days.

Colder air will arrive on Tuesday morning with decreasing clouds, temperatures will start near the freezing mark and only reach the upper 40s by the late afternoon. Another warming trend will start Wednesday with the chance of showers for the second half of the week.
