PITTSBURGH — The threat for showers and storms could disrupt your weekend plans, but the weekend will not be a complete washout.
The first round of wet weather moves in Saturday late morning through early afternoon and could include gusty winds and a brief downpour. At this point, widespread severe weather is not expected but check back often before making plans, but you will want to have rain gear with you for the St. Patrick’s Day parade.
Another round of showers and possibly stronger storms develop Sunday, once again mid-morning through early afternoon.
The ingredients for damaging winds could be higher on Sunday but the severe threat could also decrease some before that part of the system arrives.
