Teen taken to hospital after shooting in Terrace Village (WPXI)

PITTSBURGH — A teen was taken to the hospital Monday night after a shooting in Terrace Village.

According to Pittsburgh Police, just after 11:15 p.m. officers were called to the 2000 block of Rose Street for a seven-round ShotSpotter alert.

When officers got to the scene they found a 14-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his left ankle.

The teen was taken to the hospital in stable condition. The victim told officers that he was walking to his house when he was shot.

Detectives investigating the scene.

There are no suspects of arrests at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
