MARSHALL TOWNSHIP, Pa. — SWAT units helped serve an arrest warrant in Marshall Township.
Officers were called to Faulk Drive for a situation overnight.
The North Hills Special Response Team was later called to assist.
Court documents say the man inside said he disabled the garage door and locked the doors to the residence.
Police said he was also sending threatening text messages and photos of a gun to another person. The man, at one point, threatened to shoot a dog inside the house.
Officers were able to take him into custody without incident. He was taken to the Allegheny County Jail.
