PITTSBURGH — An SUV crashed into a house after sliding off an icy road in Pittsburgh.
Video captured on a Ring doorbell camera shows an SUV sliding down icy Parkwood Avenue Saturday afternoon at a high rate of speed. It narrowly misses another vehicle that was sliding on the ice before crashing off the road and into a nearby house.
The vehicle put a hole in the side of the house and also damaged a gas meter.
Columbia Gas crews shut off the gas to that house and are making repairs. No other customers lost service.
Channel 11 has reached out to Pittsburgh Police and Columbia Gas for more details and is waiting to hear back.
