Only Channel 11 obtained new surveillance video that will serve as crucial evidence for investigators.

You can’t hear what Myairah Carter and Rayon Williams are talking about when you watch the surveillance video from inside Bonez Barbershop in the Southside. However, you can see Carter sitting in a barber’s chair, wearing a cape, and Williams standing up in the gold tracksuit.

According to police, Carter told investigators that Williams threatened to hit her, then you see her step forward and put her hand in her pocket.

In the next frame, you see Carter pull out a gun from under her barber’s cape.

Investigators say Carter admitted to firing the gun three times, and officers charged her with criminal homicide for Williams’ death.

After the gunfire, everyone inside runs to the back of the store, and you can hear an employee call 911.

Detectives told Channel 11, the two women had known each other for two years and had ongoing issues because they had dated the same person.
