PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson has been named to the Pro Bowl Games.
Wilson replaces Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who is unable to participate due to an injury.
Wilson started the final 11 games of the 2024 season, where he completed 214 of 336 passes (63.7%) for 2,482 yards and 16 touchdowns and five interceptions. He also had 43 rushes for 155 yards and two touchdowns.
This marks Wilson’s 10th Pro Bowl appearance (2012-15, 2017-21, 2024), which is tied for fifth-most among quarterbacks in NFL history, the Steelers said.
Wilson will join a group of Steelers who were selected to the Pro Bowl Games that includes kicker Chris Boswell, safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, defensive tackle Cameron Heyward and linebacker T.J. Watt, who were voted in as starters, as well as special teams ace Miles Killebrew, who was named as an injury replacement, and guard Isaac Seumalo, who was named as a replacement. Watt won’t participate because of an injury.
Steelers Director of Player Development Darrel Young has been named to the AFC staff for the Pro Bowl Games this year, serving as one of the Heads of Player Engagement.
The Pro Bowl Games kick off on Thursday, Jan. 30.
