Current students are excited to watch the game tomorrow at 8 p.m. on Channel 11 to cheer on their alum.

Inside the school’s gym this afternoon, students were cheering and chanting “here we go, Steelers” and waving their Terrible Towels.

Special guest and Steelers legend Charlie Batch was there and handing out prizes to kids.

We also saw the team’s mascot, Steely McBeam.

Charlie Batch said he enjoys meeting the students and being part of activities like this.

“When you put a pep rally together like this but when one of your alumni are playing Christian it gets even more exciting. You saw the energy flowing in the gym today It was super exciting to be a part of,” Batch said.

Batch told the kids to cheer on the Steelers especially against a division rival on the road.
