PITTSBURGH — This article originally appeared on SteelersNOW.com.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson revealed after Saturday night’s Wild Card loss to the Baltimore Ravens that he wants to be back but he will leave it in God’s hands. Wilson is set to become an unrestricted free agent in 2025.

“I love this game. I got so much more ball left in me,” Wilson said.

The Steelers lost the final five games of the season (including playoffs), and Wilson’s subpar play was a big factor. Wilson ranked 30th out of 31 qualified quarterbacks in EPA per drop back over the last five weeks of the regular season.

Adam Schefter of ESPN revealed in late December that Wilson is expected to be the Steelers starting quarterback in 2025. That tracked with what NFL insider Dianna Russini reported in November.
