GREENSBURG, Pa. — Serenity, the 5-year-old granddaughter of Elizabeth Pollard, got to “shop with a cop” at the Greensburg Walmart on Monday.
The little girl was reuinited with the troopers who found her after her and her grandmother were reported missing two weeks ago.
Pollard, 64, was found dead in an abandoned mine after falling through a sinkhole while looking for her cat.
Troopers found Pollard’s vehicle parked behind Monday’s Union Restaurant, where they found Serenity inside nearly 10 hours after they were last seen. She was unharmed and told troopers that she was just waiting for her grandmother.
