SOUTH PARK, Pa. — Neighbors are raising concerns over a new proposed development in their community.
Developers are looking to rezone the land along Ridge Road in South Park.
“Redwood Apartment Neighborhoods” pitched a plan to build a single-story apartment complex to the township board and community during a meeting on Monday.
Residents say they’re concerned about sewer issues, traffic and protections to wildlife and trees.
“This is who we are; let’s be who we are. If it fits, great, but let’s make sure it fits for us; make sure it fits for us in the community,” one resident said.
The plans are still in the early stages, and it’s unclear when the board could vote on rezoning the property.
