Some Restaurant Week deals continue because of the cold

Emporio in Wexford closes temporarily as ground settles under restaurant

PITTSBURGH — Cold weather and snow covered roads have turned Restaurant Week plural.

Last week, the twice annual Restaurant Week returned to the city of Pittsburgh for its winter service with the them “New Dishes for the New Year.” The event has been held since 2012, providing diners with a special, discounted meal at participating restaurants. Due to heavy snowfall last week, some of the participating restaurants have elected to keep the week going for a second one. Diners are still encouraged to make reservations, mention the event to their servers and to tip generously.’

Some restaurants that are still participating are as followed, as well as when they will run their deals until.

  • Coast and Main Seafood and Chophouse, Monroeville, ends Saturday
  • The Coxcomb, Murrysville, ends Sunday
  • Dee Jay’s Lounge, Murrysville, ends Sunday

  • Emiliano’s, all locations, ends Sunday
