Cold temperatures will keep snow sticking around, icy spots

PITTSBURGH — Cold temperatures will keep snow on the ground and create icy spots as temperatures drop into the teens. Light flurries or snow showers will continue at times Tuesday and even treated surfaces could pick up another quick coating.

This blast of arctic air will continue through the week and high temperatures will struggle to get to the freezing mark this week and through the weekend. Overnight low temperatures will dip into the single digits so bring pets inside or make sure they have a space to stay warm. If it’s too cold for you, it’s too cold for pets too!
