SMITHFIELD, Pa. — A Smithfield Pizzeria is looking for help after a break-in.

Fat Angelo’s Pizzeria on Ridgeview Drive shared surveillance video of a man using a hammer to smash the glass of their front door.

The break-in happened Sunday at 1:23 a.m. Fat Angelo’s Pizzeria said the suspect did not get anything.

That was not the case during a break-in that happened four months ago. That time, the business told Channel 11, someone broke in through a side window and took the cash register.

The business worked with state police during the first incident but said nothing came of it. By sharing the video of the second break-in, they hope to get answers.

The business delayed its opening on Sunday but began selling pizzas at 1 p.m., saying to “walk right on in” and shared a picture of their shattered door.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has any information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 724-439-7111.
