PITTSBURGH — Skeletal remains were found in South Side Slopes.
Pittsburgh Police said the human remains were found on the 2400 block of Burham Street Sunday afternoon.
Channel 11 saw investigators working in a wooded area at the scene.
The remains are in a state of advanced decomposition, police said.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner and Pittsburgh Police’s VCU detectives are working to identify the remains and determine a cause and manner of death.
