Showers possible for Sunday afternoon, temperatures drop into Monday

PITTSBURGH — Keep the coat handy the next couple of days as a fresh early spring chill will be in the air.

Sunday will be mainly dry and cooler, but an isolated shower is still possible.  Highs will struggle back into the lower 50s. Most of the showers will be during the afternoon hours Sunday before falling apart by Sunset.

Monday will not be any warmer as a reinforcing shot of cold air makes its way into the area. We’ll see spotty showers on and off during the day.

Frost advisories and freeze warnings are possible Sunday night and especially Monday night for at least parts of the area.
