PITTSBURGH — On Day 4 of the murder trial of Christina Spicuzza, testimony centered around dash camera video.
The testimony took the jury back to a week after Spicuzza was shot and killed in 2022 when Allegheny County Police canvassed the drop-off point of her last Uber ride.
It was in Penn Hills under the foliage where the two-view dash camera Spicuzza used on her Uber trips was found.
Detectives testified that Calvin Crew entered the car on February 10th, 2022 and rode for nearly 20 minutes before sliding across the back seat and pulling out a gun.
The final moments of Spicuzza’s life were lined up with her cell phone data showing that her phone and Crew were traveling together following that video according to an FBI agent.
That agent was the Commonwealth’s final witness, resting its case in this murder trial.

Late in the afternoon, the defense started its case calling an investigator from the Public Defender’s Office. That investigator walked the jury back to where Spicuzza’s body was found in Monroeville.
She showed different measurements of the hillside with the defense attempting to prove there is not enough data to determine the angle of the gunshot and it could have been an accidental discharge.
Court resumes with another defense witness on Friday morning.
