Police have released bodycam and dashcam video of a chase that started in Ohio and ended in a deadly officer-involved shooting on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol video shows the moments before a man identified as Deshawn Dante Leeth got into a dispute with a trooper and stole his cruiser, through the moments when he crashed that same vehicle in Pennsylvania.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper encountered Leeth minutes after he was in a rollover crash along the Ohio Turnpike in Mahoning County.
“Please, step away! You’re the devil. In the name of Jesus, watch out. You’re gonna get hurt,” Leeth said. At one point, he tells the trooper that the next time he touches him, he is going to die.
For a moment, Leeth runs off and the trooper radios for backup.
“Send me another unit. He’s on foot running,” the trooper said.
Seconds later, Leeth returns, the trooper deploys his taser but that does not stop him. He and the trooper trade punches for more than 30 seconds. Leeth manages to get on top of the trooper.
“I’m stronger than you. I’m with Jesus,” Leeth said.
At this point, the bodycam falls to the ground but audio was still captured.
This is around the same time a driver from Wexford arrived and recorded a third man intervening and trying to get Leeth off the trooper.
“Come on, bro. I don’t want to see him shoot you, bro,” the man could be heard saying on the officer’s bodycam.
Video recorded by the driver from Wexford shows Leeth running away, getting in the trooper’s vehicle and speeding off.
The dashcam inside the stolen cruiser is recording audio. Leeth is talking as he heads into Pennsylvania and almost crashes several times.
”Get the devil off the radio. Play that good Gospel music. Everlasting God,” Leeth can be heard saying.
Leeth makes contact with the inside barrier at one point and the cruiser goes up on two wheels but does not crash.
Back at the scene in Ohio, a truck driver checks on the trooper.
Leeth continues driving for nearly 15 minutes. He rants, prays and drives.
“Anyone touching my car right now, I rebuke you in the name of Jesus,” Leeth said.
He crashes on the PA Turnpike in Beaver County, video shows the cruiser rolling onto its roof. He continues talking for several minutes as police close in.
Audio on the dashcam captures police demanding that Leeth show them his hands, put them in the air, and get out of the car.
He was shot and killed by them moments later, but that is not included in the video.
The Beaver County District Attorney is investigating the incident. The involved police members were put on administrative duty.
