3 taken into custody after burglary at Brentwood vape shop

Police response at Brentwood Vape Shop

BRENTWOOD, Pa. — Police are investigating a burglary at a vape shop in Brentwood.

Officers were called to Vape City Smoke Shop in the 3300 block of Saw Mill Run Boulevard around 1:34 a.m. on Wednesday.

Our crews on scene saw the front door shattered and glass all over the ground.

Brentwood Police said that three people were taken into custody -- two juveniles and one adult.

The front door is now boarded up, and police continue to investigate.

The adult suspect has been identified as Twizere Ngaboyishema, 21, of Brentwood. He is being held at the Allegheny County Jail.

According to a criminal complaint, he was found on the 3300 block of Jameson Drive by an officer of the Baldwin Borough Police Department.

He was sweating, breathing heavily and covered with debris from the wooded area on his clothes, police said.

Officers found an unopened vape box and a black ski mask in the area where he was found, too.

Ngaboyishema was taken back to the vape shop and learned the key fob he had on him belonged to a Nissan Pathfinder that was left at the scene.
