Jarry has played 22 games this season, starting in 21 of them. He’s tallied eight wins and has a 3.31 goals against average and a .886 save percentage. He was in net Tuesday for the Penguins’ 4-2 loss to Seattle.
Since signing his five-year contract in July 2023, Jarry is 27-32 with a .898 save percentage and a stink at Wilkes-Barre.
Jarry was sent to the Wilkes-Barre on a conditioning loan in October, only a few games after being pulled from the net after allowing three goals on five shots in the first period against the Buffalo Sabres. He was recalled from the AHL on Nov. 9.

If not claimed by 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jarry could be assigned to Wilkes-Barre.
It wasn’t immediately clear if goaltender Joel Blomqvist would replace Jarry on the Penguins roster.
Blomqvist has appeared in eight NHL games this season, with seven of them being starts. He has a 3-5 record, 3.60 goals-against average and a .904 save percentage.
The Penguins’ other starting goaltender, Alex Nedeljkovic, has played 19 games this season, starting in 18 of them. He’s tallied seven wins and has a 3.40 goals against average and a .886 save percentage.
According to our partners at Pittsburgh Hockey Now, Jarry was absent from Wednesday’s practice but Nedeljkovic participated in the workout.
Jarry was the Penguins’ second-round pick (44th overall) in the 2013 NHL Draft. He made his NHL debut in 2017.
