Pitt football’s 2025 schedule features 8 bowl teams

PITTSBURGH — Pitt’s 2025 football schedule is here. The challenging season ahead features eight bowl teams, including Notre Dame, the College Football Playoff runner-up.

The schedule was released Monday night during a live telecast on the ACC Network.

Pitt will play at their Acrisure Stadium home seven times, including against four ACC opponents that advanced to bowl games in 2024. Pitt will play seven times at its Acrisure Stadium home, including against four ACC opponents that advanced to bowl games in 2024.

The schedule also features historic matchups — like the first game against Duquesne in 86 years and the 108th renewal of the Backyard Brawl in Morgantown on Sept. 13.

Pitt has two bye weeks this year.
