Man dies after being hit by car in Forest Hills

FOREST HILLS, Pa. — A man died after he was hit by a car in Forest Hills Tuesday night.

Emergency crews were called to the 2200 block of Ardmore Boulevard just before 10 p.m. for a pedestrian crash.

The man who was hit was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the car, a Toyota Corolla, remained on the scene, Allegheny County police said.

Detectives are initiating the investigation.
