SEWICKLEY TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A man died in a crash on a busy Westmoreland County road.
Westmoreland County 911 dispatchers tell Channel 11 that first responders were sent to Clay Pike at Orchard Drive in Sewickley Township around 4:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Westmoreland County Coroner Tim Carson says a 71-year-old man traveling north on Clay Pike died after a Ford truck traveling south apparently crossed the center line and hit his vehicle.
Thee driver of the truck was taken to a hospital. The severity of their injuries was not immediately clear.
Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.
