Scattered showers overnight, wet start to Wednesday

PITTSBURGH — Scattered showers and a few isolated storms will be in the area again Wednesday, but a good part of the day will be dry.

After lunch, pop-up showers will develop along with a few storms that could bring heavy downpours off and on through the evening.

Thursday will be warm with a few more isolated showers during the day and the threat for stronger storms late through early Friday morning. A few storms on Friday could be strong to severe with frequent lightning and strong wind gusts.
