Monessen man accused of producing sexual content of a minor sentenced to prison

MONESSEN, Pa. — A Westmoreland County man who was accused of making sexual content involving a minor is heading to prison.

The Department of Justice said Stefan Sweeney, 36, of Monessen, made a video that sexually exploited a 13-year-old girl.

On Thursday, he was sentenced to 20 years in prison followed by 10 years of supervised release.

Police said Sweeney was caught as part of an investigation conducted between the FBI, Kennedy Township Police and Pittsburgh Police.
