Thursday evening will be clear, dry; temperatures fall to 50s at night

PITTSBURGH — Clear, dry, and chilly this evening, temperatures fall from the 60s down into the 50s after sunset tonight. Temperatures will continue to tumble overnight down into the 40s.

It will be a cold but bright start Friday morning. Make sure to have a jacket and your sunglasses before you head out the door, wake up temperatures will be in the low to mid-40s. You won’t need your jacket for long, sunshine will warm temperatures up to the low 70s by the afternoon. This pleasant weather will close out the work week and kick off Memorial Day weekend.

Memorial Day weekend will start with sunshine Saturday, highs will make it to the mid-70s. On Sunday, a low-pressure system along the east coast may track inland and bring some clouds to the area. As of now the best chance for a few spotty showers from this system could come Sunday afternoon and Monday in our far southeastern counties the rest of our viewing area could stay dry.
