PITTSBURGH — A few clouds around this evening with some clearing late, temperatures fall to the upper teens tonight.
Make sure to dress warm Monday morning and do not forget to grab your sunglasses before you head out the door. It will be sunny, but wind chills will be around 10° in Pittsburgh and in the upper single digits for some early Monday morning.
Highs, again, will reach the mid-30s in the afternoon, but wind gusts will increase keeping wind chills in the 20s. Higher wind gusts are expected in the evening and into Tuesday morning, gusts could reach up to 30 mph with higher gusts in the mountains.
Snow showers will move in from the north late Monday night into Tuesday morning. Snow could come in bursts at times reducing visibility, cover roads and bring slippery travel for the morning commute on Tuesday. Snowfall could reach up to 1″-2″ with higher amounts possible in the ridges and mountains. Make sure to get the latest forecast as we continue to track this next chance for snow.
Wednesday will also bring the chance for snow showers later in the day. Then a slight warm-up is expected for the end of the week with rain possible on Friday; rain may turn back to snow before ending into the start of the weekend.
