DUQUESNE, Pa. — Allegheny County police are investigating a deadly early-morning shooting in Duquesne.
The department says its Homicide Unit responded to Duquesne after 911 officials were notified of a shooting at the intersection of South 5th Street and Viola Way just after 5 a.m.
First responders found a man shot once in the chest dead at the scene. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner identified him as James Earl Robinson II, 34.
Homicide Unit detectives are investigating. Police officials urge anyone with information on the shooting to call the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
