DUQUESNE, Pa. — A man is dead, and a woman is seriously hurt after an early morning shooting in Duquesne.
The Allegheny County Police Department says 911 dispatchers were notified of a shooting in the 100 block of Commonwealth Avenue around 5 a.m. Monday.
First responders found a man and woman inside of a home shot. The man died on scene; the woman was taken to an area hospital, where she is in critical condition.
The man was later identified as Sean Russell Johnson Jr., 30.
Homicide Unit detectives are investigating. Anyone with information on the shooting should call the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
