PITTSBURGH — A man has died after his car went over a hillside in Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar Friday evening.
Pittsburgh police said emergency units were dispatched to Paulson Avenue and Rowan Street just before 6 p.m.
Upon arrival, first responders saw a car over the hillside with a male driver still inside. Medics performed CPR until the driver was taken to a local hospital in critical condition and underwent surgery.
The driver later died at the hospital. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office identified him as Leondre Johnson, 28, of Wilkinsburg.
The area around Paulson and Rowan was closed to traffic while the Collision Investigation Unit was on scene.
The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
