Man accused of driving teen girl to Pittsburgh to have sex with another man for money

PITTSBURGH — A man is facing charges after police say he drove a 17-year-old girl to Pittsburgh from Philadelphia to have sex with another man in exchange for money.

Following an undercover setup by the Northern Regional Police Department, police have charged 29-year-old Darnaill Foster with trafficking, promoting prostitution, corruption of minors and sexual exploitation of children.

In court records, police say they were monitoring advertisements on escort websites on Tuesday night. Officers replied to an ad and agreed to a meeting at the Double Tree Hotel on Sheraton Drive in Marshall Township.

Around 12:45 a.m., police saw a car with two people inside pull into the hotel’s parking lot. No one got out, and police say the person they’d been communicating with asked if they were with law enforcement.

The car left the parking lot after about 30 minutes. Police stopped the vehicle, which had Foster as the driver and a 17-year-old girl as the passenger.

The girl told police that Foster is her best friend’s brother, and they drove from Philadelphia to see his sister and mother. They reportedly went to get a hotel room, but it was too expensive, so they left.

Police searched the vehicle and found a cellphone, which the girl said was hers. Police called the number they had been communicating with, and the cellphone began to ring, records show.

Foster was then arrested without incident.
