Historic church catches fire in Beaver County

OHIOVILLE, Pa. — A historic church has caught on fire in Beaver County.

Beaver County dispatchers said firefighters were called to the 300 block of New Salem Church Road in Ohioville at 9:41 a.m. on Friday.

According to the New Salem Presbyterian Church website, the church was built in 1850.

Smoke could be seen pouring out of the building’s windows and roof.

As of 10:40 a.m., no injuries had been reported.
