PITTSBURGH — Gov. Josh Shapiro has ordered flags to fly at half-staff in honor of a State Representative who died on Sunday.
Matt Gergely, who represents the Mon Valley, died weeks after suffering an unspecified medical emergency.

Shapiro, on Monday, ordered United States and Commonwealth flags flown on all Commonwealth facilities, public buildings, and grounds to fly at half-staff immediately. The flags should remain at half-staff until sunset the day Gergely is interred, which has not yet been announced.
