ROSS TOWNSHIP, Pa. — The West View Ross Athletic Association held its eighth annual blood drive on Saturday.
What started as a replenishment drive for one of the association’s members has since grown to an annual event where a few dozen people donate.
“Typically, we see over 300 boys and girls in our community signed up for baseball and softball. So, just an opportunity to give something back to the community has been a great thing for West View Ross Athletic Association,” James Winner said.
People who took part in the drive were entered into a raffle to win a $10,000 gift card, and they got a $50 discount for spring baseball membership.
