SALEM TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A woman was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Route 119 in Westmoreland County.
The crash happened in the 3000 block of Route 119 in Salem Township at 8:41 a.m. on Friday.
Westmoreland County Coroner Tim Carson said Melissa S. Dustin, 37, of Torrance, was driving a Honda Civic in the northbound lanes when her vehicle went off the east shoulder. It then traveled back onto the road, crossed the center line, and crashed into another vehicle.
She was pronounced dead at 9:55 a.m.
Route 119 was shut down between Route 22 and Latrobe Crabtree Road but has since reopened.
Dustin’s airbags never deployed and she was not wearing a seatbelt.
